INVITATION TO BID

2023 HURRICANE IDA STREET TREE PROGRAM SPRING PLANTING PROJECT NO. 435.23.004.

Sealed Bids will be accepted until WEDNESDAY, MAY 17, 2023, at 11:00 A.M., CST in the office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Mandeville, Louisiana, 3101 East Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA, 70448 from dealers or nurseries qualified to provide Trees for the 2023 HURRICANE IDA STREET TREE PROGRAM SPRING PLANTING PROJECT NO. 435.23.004 to the City of Mandeville. Qualified nurseries and nursery stock dealers who have successfully demonstrated their ability to provide similar products at comparable facilities are invited to submit bids.

The work consists of providing materials and transportation necessary for, and incidental to performing all operations in connection with furnishing and delivering of plants (also known as "landscaping”) complete as specified herein. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud after 11:00 A.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Mandeville, Louisiana. Any bids received after 11:00 A.M. will be returned unopened.

For hard copy bids, the outside envelope in which the bid is placed must be clearly marked as follows:

BID DUE DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 11:00 A.M., CST

INCLUDE: Vendor’s Name, Address, And Louisiana Landscape License Number

Written inquiries must be submitted no later than Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 5:00 P.M., CST.

It is requested, but not mandatory, that the entire bid package be submitted in duplicate or accompanied by a digital copy on a USB flash drive.

All applicable laws, ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over this purchase shall apply to the Contract throughout.
