The Legal Department serves to assist the City Council, the Mayor and City of Mandeville departments.

The City Attorney serves as chief legal advisor to the Mayor, Council, all departments, offices and agencies pursuant to Section 4-02 (C) of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Mandeville. She represents the City in all legal proceedings and performs other duties prescribed by the charter or by ordinance.
