Alia has over 16 years of marketing, promotions and sales experience in the fields of publishing, telecommunications and brand marketing. Her most recent employment was Promotions Manager with the Times Picayune, where she was responsible for promotions, vendor and carrier relations and the coordination of the Newspaper in Education program. Prior to that, she was Senior Account Manager for MCI WorldCom and BellSouth where she was responsible for corporate telecommunications sales, marketing and training. She also has a consulting background in brand marketing and promotions. As the Mayor’s Assistant, Trilby provides administrative support to the Mayor and assists in standard operating policies and procedures of the Mayor’s office. She maintains the Mayor’s schedule and sets appointments with citizens, residents and visitors. Directs incoming calls to appropriate departments whenever a problem occurs and follows up on departmental actions. It is her job to prepare reports, presentations, media releases and news articles about programs and services. On behalf of the Mayor, Trilby attends meetings of various boards and commissions and maintains official records and files. She plans conferences, training sessions and major city events. Louisette is the Director of the Department of Planning and Development for the City of Mandeville with over 20 years experience in city planning. As the Planning Director, she is integrally involved in developing and administering the City’s regulations regarding all planning and zoning issues and subdivision development. Louisette has been deeply involved in updating the city’s Comprehensive Plan and the Comprehensive Land Use Regulations Ordinance (CLURO). More recently, her projects included the old Mandeville Business District Area Plan, the development of a Historic Preservation District, and a Town Center Master Plan Study. Louisette graduated from LSU and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography, she is a graduate of Leadership St. Tammany West, and is also a graduate of American Institute of Certified Planners. Chief Gerald Sticker is a USMC Gulf War Veteran. He began his career in law enforcement in 1992. Gerald holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Liberty University. He is also a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy, Session #245 and holds numerous law enforcement related certifications ranging from Internal Affairs Investigations to Public and Media Relations.
Joanna Anderson, a certified Organizational Leadership Coach, started as the Human Resources Assistant for the City of Mandeville in January, 2016. She graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and has been a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 2008.
Joanna has worked as a Salesperson, Psychiatric Technician, and Performance Excellence Coordinator. Recruiting, behavioral interviewing, employee relations, and I/O psychology are her preferred areas of professional interest.
