Cultural Arts

The City of Mandeville recognizes the importance of art and culture in our community.  Every city has a personality that reflects its history, heritage, diversity, quality of life, values, needs and dreams of its residents.  Many things contribute to how people experience their community, but one thing is essential in shaping a city’s personality – and that is how people see, feel, and connect with its cultural life.
The Department of Cultural Development's aim is to increase community, visitor and business participation in arts and cultural endeavors by entertaining, educating and energizing residents and visitors through the celebration of the arts. We invite you to Experience Mandeville!

Quick Response

The City of Mandeville is rich in culture and history, having sites and buildings throughout the City with great stories to tell. In our effort to preserve and promote our historic places, we are thrilled to announce our newest endeavor to bring Mandeville’s history to life.

We welcome residents and guests to EXPERIENCE MANDEVILLE through our Explore Historic Mandeville QR (Quick Response/Reader) Tour to get better acquainted with our beautiful City. Phase 1 of the tour has been completed, which includes the installation of QR markers on a diverse collection of 20 sites. Phase 1 allows participants to utilize a mobile smart device to scan the code for a quick response of the written history of each site.
