9-16-21 City of Mandeville Update From Coastal Environmental Services

THURSDAY MORNING UPDATE 9/16/2021
Good Morning to everyone!
The volume of garbage continues to be very heavy. Prior to the storm we averaged picking up roughly 450 tons of household garbage on a daily basis. Since the storm we are averaging roughly 670 tons of household garbage per day. This is one of the main reasons that we have limited what we are picking up to Cart Content Only. We would not be able to service all customers on each route if we picked up household garbage outside of the cart(s) as well. Hopefully the volume of garbage levels off and we can resume picking up household garbage items outside of the cart(s) very soon.
All of your bulky waste and green waste should be in separate piles at the curb so that the Storm Debris Contractor in your area can pick up.
