THE CITY OF MANDEVILLE IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING (NON-POLICE) POSITIONS:
  • Clerk I - Part-time and full-time positions. Starting salary is $9.50 per hour. Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent with some specialized coursework in general office practices. Click here for an example Clerk I job description.
  • Clerk II - Part-time and full-time positions. Starting salary is $11.76 per hour. Must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent with some specialized coursework in general office practices and two or more years clerical experience.   • Equipment Operator -  Full-time 40 hours per week. Starting salary is $13.07 per hour. Must possess a valid state driver’s license, be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have three or more years’ experience involving the use of medium and heaving equipment, two of which must have been related to utility or street systems.   • Maintenance Worker I - Full-time 40 hours per week. Starting salary is $9.50 per hour. Must possess a valid state driver’s license, be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Click here for an example Maintenance Worker I job description.
  • Maintenance Worker II -  Full-time 40 hours per week. Starting salary is $10.69 per hour. Must possess a valid state driver’s license, be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have two years or more related experience. ETHICS TRAINING 
Louisiana Revised Statute 42:1170, requires all public employees complete one hour of training on the Code of Governmental Ethics each calendar year. Each City of Mandeville employee and official must complete the required ethics training each calendar year.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT TRAINING
In the Louisiana Senate Concurrent Resolution 107 passed in 2012, the Louisiana Senate resolved that all state agencies should provide one hour of sexual harassment training to each public employee and official each calendar year. Each City of Mandeville employee and official must complete the statutorily mandated sexual harassment training each calendar year. Gretchen McKinney, SPHR, IPMA-CP, Director of Personnel is named as the City's designate to provide this training to City employees. She can be reached athr@cityofmandeville.com or 985-626-3144.
