P17-05-04  Recommendation to the City Council regarding Ordinance 17-10 amending the CLURO, Section 7.6.1.4, D-O Site Development Regulations and providing for other matters in connection therewith    

R17-05-02  Audrey W. Dobson, individually and as Trustee of the William H. Dobson Testamentary  Trust request a resubdivision of square 24, remainder of square 60 and a portion of the revoked Livingston Street right-of-way into lots A, B, C, D, E, F and G, zoned R-1.                     

New Business

R17-07-03  John C. Crane requests a resubdivision of lots 14 and 15 into lots 14A and 15A, square 7, 245 Lamarque Street, zoned R-1

P17-07-06  Recommendation to the City Council regarding Ordinance 17-20 supplementing and amending the CLURO, Appendix A, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Mandeville by amending Section 8.3.5.2, Specific Standards and providing for other matters in connection therewith

Adoption of the minutes of July 11, 2017

Announcement that written notice of decisions regarding zoning variances will be filed in the Board's office the following day of this meeting at which time applicable appeal time will begin to run.

Old Business

V17-05-08  Audrey W. Dobson, individually and as Trustee of the William H. Dobson Testamentary  Trust request a variance to Section 3.3.12, Areas of Periodic Inundation, and Section 7.4, General Provisions of the Zoning District Regulations, for square 24, remainder of square 60 and a portion of the revoked Livingston Street right-of-way into lots A, B, C, D, E, F and G, zoned R-1.                                                               

               Allow land under the 5’ msl contour that may be subject to periodic inundation to be included in the calculations of required lot area or required buildable area for purposes of resubdivision

New Business

V17-07-16  John C. Crane requests a variance to Section 7.5.1.3, R-1 Site Development Regulations, lot 15 into proposed lot 15A, 245 Lamarque Street, zoned R-1

               Variance to allow a rear yard setback deficiency of 2.5’ on lot 15 (proposed lot 15A) containing an     existing house and the resubdivision of the two lots

V17-07-17  Maureen Tipton/Town North Construction LLC requests a variance to Section 7.5.1.3, R-1 Single Family Residential, lot 195, square 6, Old Golden Shores Subdivision, 219 Cindy Lou Place, zoned R-1

               Variance to allow a combined 15’ side yard setback where 20’ is required for new residential        construction to have a consistent appearance of the neighborhood                                                                                      

V17-07-18  Carl Wood/Town North Construction LLC requests a variance to Section 7.5.1.3, R-1 Site Development Regulations, lot 125, square 6, Old Golden Shores Subdivision, 146 Cindy Lou Place, zoned R-1

               Variance to allow a combined 15’ side yard setback where 20’ is required for new residential        construction to have a consistent appearance of the neighborhood           

V17-07-19  Byron K. Herpich etux requests a variance to Section 9.2.5.7, Live Oak Protection Requirements and Section 9.2.5.2, Vegetation Protection Zones, lot 7-A-1, square 4, 1709 Lakeshore Drive, zoned R-1

               Variance to allow an aggregate driveway to be placed between two live oak trees within 82% of the        dripline

Notification of Filing Case Addendum - Any additional information determined to be needed by the Commission in order to make a decision regarding a case shall be required to be submitted to the Planning Department by the end of business on the Friday following the meeting at which the additional information was requested or the case will automatically be tabled at the next meeting

R17-08-04  Benjamin F. Eshelman, III requests a resubdivision of lots 14 and 15, Bayou Castain Subdivision, into lots 14A and 15A, 600 Castain Drive, zoned R-1

V17-08-20  Benjamin F. Eshelman, III requests a variance to Section 7.5.1.3, R-1 Site Development Regulations, proposed lot 15A, 600 Castain Drive, zoned R-1

            Frontage deficiency of 6.3’for an 83.7’ frontage where 90’ is required on proposed lot 14A.
